This rice is very easy to make with the Thermomix®. What surprises me is how good it always looks. You have not done it? What are you afraid of rice? This is a basic to begin with.
It is cooked in the basket, with water entering through each hole in it. It is washed in this way constantly by what is a loose rice, which leaves us the starch in the water.
You can take advantage of the starch water to make a soup or discard it. If you want you can aromatize the rice by stirring a garlic ... there are a thousand possibilities. All are delicious: D
- 50gr of extra virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 800gr of water
- 2 tablets of broth or salt
- 350gr of rice
- Put the oil and garlic in the glass and program 4 minutes, varoma, speed 3-1 / 2.
- Add the water and salt and mix 10 seconds, speed 6.
- Put the basket inside the glass and program 7 minutes, varoma, speed 4 (boil the water).
- Pour the rice through the mouth and program 13 minutes, varoma, speed 4. (Move the rice with the spatula occasionally).
- It is a good accompaniment for meat in sauce, meatballs, for a Cuban-style rice. You have countless combinations.
