Fruit: a staple food

The fruits they are necessary in our usual diet for many things, but among them because they exercise a regulatory function of the organism, because they provide us with vitamins and minerals, they have few calories and are delicious, especially when the ripening point is optimal. Its flavor, shape and textures make them different ... and it is a pity that more and more, we skip this dessert that is really necessary for our body.

In ancient times they were called "the food of the gods", because they were attributed healing properties, but today we usually go after meals to dairy products that have other characteristics and do not replace fruit. And if anyone does not know, the fiber of the fruits protects against colon and prostate cancer, diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular diseases among many other things, so the WHO (World Health Organization) promotes the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables worldwide.

Surely you know that our body needs vitamins of two groups, the fat soluble (Vit A, D, E, K) that are stored in the body and water soluble (from the group of Vitamins B and C) that are not stored and that is why we need an extra daily contribution. Are C and E powerful antioxidants that are sure to help us wrinkle less? ; D, of course what they are going to do is that our body functions better and our cells are perfect.
